Hi, in the video I share with you what I do to get well quicker when I am sick with a cold or flu. I am a big believer in herbal teas to help relieve symptoms, boost my immunity and speed my recovery. Herbal Substitutes for ADD Medication?
My friend needs to focus better in school. She sometimes takes ADD medication (although i know for a fact she does not have the condition). She says they focus her more and help her in school. Are there any herbal (legal) suppliments to that medication. If there are any at all please inform me (even if they have a minor influence).
no, there isn’t any "herbal" supplements. she should NOT take other peoples pills….because you know what? if she just wants to pay attention more in class, she can do it by not talking to others during class and all that. people who are NOT ADD or ADHD who take medication for people who actually need it just get a high off of it and it does NOTHING for them. just tell her to stop talking to others or passing notes during class. if she takes adderal or ritalin…it can really screw her up because since she does not have a problem, she is more likely to become addicted to the pills vs. me who actually has ADHD who actually needs them. tell your friend to grow up (and yeah, if you’re a true friend you’ll sit her down and tell her what she is doing is wrong. she can concentrate better by tuning out everything and do her work. she shouldn’t be stooping that low just because she’s too lazy to do it on her own)
The potential for abuse comes in when people, especially those who don’t have ADHD, take Ritalin or other ADHD drugs without a doctor’s supervision. Some people — including teenagers, college students, and adults — take illicit doses to get high, to lose weight, or just to stay alert for a long meeting or a night of studying. Some swallow too many pills; others crush the tablets into a powder and snort it.
by the way, she has bad side effects every time she takes someone elses pill. be a good friend and tell her what she is doing is wrong. she just needs to do it on her own. people like me, who actually have ADHD, need medication to do things other than to concentrate better…..it’s sad when teens these days take the kinds of pills i take just so they can do better in school…
