I have diabetes symptoms (newly diagnosed, but apparently I have had it fo a while and didn’t know it according to my doctor) and my hair keeps falling out near the crown and in the back, causing thin spots.
Someone told me that this can be a one of the diabetes symptoms that result from having diabetes. Is this true and if so; why?

hair loss is not directly related to diabetes symptoms.

Four Early Warning Diabetes Symptoms

Diabetes Symptoms

The Four Diabetes Symptoms – What Every Diabetic Needs To Be Aware Of

Whether you have got type 1 or type two diabetes mellitus, both types will present you with similar diabetes symptoms that you should beware of. When you have either of these two types, your own blood possesses an excessive amount of glucose or perhaps sugar that it could manage. And we are all aware that too much will never best for the body. Any time glucose inside your blood will increase to a quite high level, your system will begin giving you totally different signs and symptoms associated with a diabetic patient.

When you’ve got type one, the damage is in the insulin-producing cells or perhaps the beta cells because they can no longer produce the right amount of insulin to counteract high sugar levels in your blood. This is basically the action of insulin, of course, if it is lacking in significant amounts, our bodies will then begin to show signs.

In type two, a similar story occurs, other than the destruction is in your cells since it is already developed resistance to insulin. Therefore, though your body creates the correct quantity of it, still it won’t do any good for the reason that rest of the body will still deny it anyway. This ends up with elevated blood sugar levels that lead to diabetes mellitus.

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms #1. Urinating Often: Assuming you have noticed that you seem to go to the bathroom much more recently, it could possibly be one of many indications of this blood sugar disorder. If no other reason has caused this-frequent intake of water or another illnesses, then it could be one of the signs you are looking for. In this kind of medical condition, since glucose is already working in high levels within your blood circulation, when it reaches the kidneys the organs cannot filter the glucose. They end up diluting your urine by adding more water and that is when your urinary bladder seems to be full all the time.

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms #2. Tingling Sensation: This is also called in medical terms being a neuropathy, and it only occurs in most diabetic patients. Because this medical condition affects glucose in your own blood and your blood travels to different parts of your body, the rest of your organ systems are affected. In here, we’re talking about your nervous system, where all kinds of nerves are affected. The signs are mostly clear in the extremities and therefore are usually felt as tingling sensations. Although mostly evident in later stages, you can feel this in case you are diagnosed with diabetes.

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms #3. You Are Generally Thirsty: Whenever your thirst is apparently unquenchable, you may be showing indication of diabetic patients. As your body requires more water to be able to dilute your urine that is definitely full of glucose, you may be becoming thirsty more frequently than necessary.

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms #4. Blurred vision: It typically happens in later stages, however , your visual organ system is also affected when you find yourself recognized as diabetic. As explained preceding, diabetes mellitus is a really systematic disease, so that it can impact different organ parts together with your eyes.

Are you experiencing one of these diabetes symptoms? If you do, don’t wait to visit a doctor. Ensure that you do not have any of those diabetes symptoms as well as have yourself checked out before it might be too late.

The bill he vetoed did not allow stem cell research to be funded properly by the government, while the many millions of people like me could be cured from the research. His main reasons for vetoing the bill had to do with cloning, and us being a Christian country. Following this announcement, George Bush recieved a standing ovation.

I am 15 years old. I have had Diabetes for 10 years, and this comming March of 2008 will be my 11th. year. Diabetes is more than just a life threatening disease. It’s you’re life… period.

But there is hope. The JDRF (Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation) holds a Walk-to-Cure-Diabetes every year in Siesta Key Beach, Florida. They raise millions of dollars a year and span to over 200 locations around the Earth. Diabetes can be cured across America with proper funding from organizations, the government, and people like you.

Now this video isn’t meant to scare people that have diabetes. Truth is, if you’re careful and listen to your doctors, you can live a long, happy, and healthy life. It’s not always easy, but you can always do something about it to control your sugar more and be healthier than you can ever be. there’s always something you can do, and it’s a good feeling!

Barack Obama supported Stem Cell Research! Thank you, Mr. Obama! You’ve given hope to millions of people like me. Thank you!

Q and A about Diabetes:

Q: What is Diabetes?

A: Your body turns food into energy using insulin. Insulin is made by the pancreas and allows the sugar to be used by your body. Diabetes is a chronic disease where you’re pancreas slows down or stops functioning. Without insulin, the sugar stays in your bloodstream. However, with too much insulin, you won’t have reserve energy for standing, walking, and sometimes your body can’t keep warm with low blood sugar. I have to monitor my blood sugar levels several times a day and take insulin from shots to make sure my blood sugar levels don’t go too high or too low.

Q: Does Diabetes happen to fat people?

A: Not all types of Diabetes happen to obese people. Type 1 (Juvenille Diabetes) is hereditary, so you can’t prevent it. It takes over you as a child or teen. Type 2 Diabetes occurs in obese people or old people, whose pancreas’s aren’t strong enough to meet the demands for insulin.

Q: Does it go away?

A: No. It is a lifelong disease. It’s impossible to avoid completelly without the stem cell procedure.

Q: What is life like as a Diabetic?

A: Normal. Just a different kind of normal. I take shots and go to the doctors once every couple months, but I’m not stripped of my life. I have a diet and I have to watch what I eat, but I can still eat my favorite foods once in a while.

Q: The diet… you have a diet?

A: Well, I need to regulate my blood sugar levels. My diet is as followed: don’t take too much sugar when you’re blood sugar level is high, and drink sugar (it has to be a drink, food takes too long to digest) when your blood sugar level is low. I eat snacks during the day and 3 meals. You can’t skip any meals or snacks, or else you’ll feel it.

Q: You feel your blood sugar levels?

A: Yes. When my blood sugar is high, It’s harder for me to pay attention or work properly. I feel warm and hyper. Sometimes I’ll be agressive. When I’m low, I feel shakey and cold, but usually hungry. I might start sweating and feel very tired. Sometimes I feel dizzy, if it goes down far enough (thank goodness it doesn’t!)

Q: What’s considered “normal” blood-sugar wise?

A: The units for blood sugars are measured in mg. of sugar per dL of blood. 80-120 is normal, but it may go between 60-160 depending on how much you eat or exersize. I go between 100-200 for the most part, but I have had numbers as low as 35 and as high as 500.

Q: I never knew you were a diabetic! How come you didn’t say so before?

A: As much as I love to educate people about the disease, I’m not different from anyone else on Youtube: I’m still a human being. I might need more time on tests or medical attention when I’m exersizing vigerously, but it’s not like I’m a different person! I live my life differently, that’s all.

Q: What was that bracelet in the last picture?

A: That’s my Medic Alert bracelet on my bed. If I pass out from my blood sugars going too low or too high, then the paramedics will be able to see that I’m a diabetic, and they may be able to wake me up with glucagon (think of it as sugar-in-a-bottle) or an insulin shot.

Q: What can I do to help? Where can I learn more?

Recently I read an article about dreams stating that people with Diabetes have more vivid dreams. Why is this?

Diabetes does not guarantee that dreams will be more vivid.

In the article, it mentioned that vivid dreams and nightmares can be a function of the body’s response to low blood sugar in order to raise blood sugar by causing the liver to release stored glucose and/or wake the person from sleeping.

Vivid dreams and nightmares are also a function of stress and worry, due to hormones that get released as part of the fight-or-flight mechanism (and those hormones also raise blood sugar). This is why stressed and/or worried people do not feel rested after sleeping.

Auditory hallucinations (hearing things that are not there, which can include music) are not due to blood sugar issues, but can result from altered levels of neurotransmitters (which are hormones). These episodes are not limited to schizophrenia or manic states of bipolar disorder, but can occur in people under stress or using certain medications.

"Ear Worms" (where you get a song "stuck" in your head) is different from a hallucination, and is a function of memory, if I recall correctly (it can be very irritating, but not generally a medical/psychological issue).

These modern times we are essentially facing, brings new technical trends, artifacts, software, new inventions and tools to achieve material success. However just like Oxford School stated in one of their last report, this modern age is sometimes called ‘the age of the psychosomatic approach’ this was also supported by

the last survey manufactured by The World Health Organisation ( WHO ) World Burden of Illness . This survey states that psychosomatic defects or psychological sicknesses, including stress-related abnormalities, will be the second major cause of incapacities by the year 2020. Diabetes is regarded as the ‘modern era’ disease. How Do Insurance Corporations View Diabetes? While Type-1 diabetes sufferers might have difficulty find life assurance particularly of they have recently experienced other health problems that can impact their mortality there might be options available like entire life or universal life plans that aren’t medically underwritten. Type-2 diabetes sufferers have greater opportunities if they have taken care to correctly manage the blood sugar, blood pressure and HDL’s and LDL’s the progression of the illness ‘ is affecting on the heart and mortality rate can be seriously reduced.

The underwriters will be hunting for more detailed info to establish if you’re already experiencing other issues that can affect your health and longevity. Are you able to Get Life insurance protection? Health Issues like these will certainly result in a rating below standard for a type two diabetic insured and below standard rating at best for insulin using diabetes patients. Dep. of farming ( USDA ) revealed recently the green tea catechin epigallocatechin gallate ( EGCG ), could boost the action of insulin. Have you experienced any Health Issues like cardio difficulties, kidney function, insensibility or shivering of extremities coming from poor circulation? If so and your using insulin and have other medical problems you will decide for non-surgical entire life assurance.

Another study in Europe said that green tea-extract also had a good effect on Health Issues glucose disorders. A growing body of study also implies that the polyphenols in tea can lower your cholesterol, triglyceride levels and blood pressure, and even help to guard your bones. In that study, daily extra intake of tea-extract reduced the hemoglobin A1c level in people with borderline diabetes. It’s suspected the drug may increase the chance of fragile bones and osteoporosis according to a new study by analysts from the Salk Institute in LaJolla, California, and released in the book, Nature Medication . But worst of all where the ingredients come from is vital too. Prescribed drugs for any illness aren’t generally safe regardless of whether the FDA did approve them.

Here’s what I’ve been taught. Considering the solemnness of raised blood pressure, especially in those with Health Issues diabetes, drugs are usually suggested as a first way for combating the issue. Even small amounts of mild exercise can make a serious difference over the long-term in lowering blood pressure. This also should be mixed however with a general fitness and health plan designed to shed the pounds and be more fit. Collaborating in moderate to intense exercise one or two times per week is better.

The jury continues to be on whether caffeine results in Diabetes problems. Although scientists in Japan say individuals who drink coffee or eco-friendly tea can help to eliminate their chance of diabetes, caffeine remains an issue like a greater risk for diabetes. Japan study centered on individuals who drink black, eco-friendly, or oblong tea and who have been between your age range of 40 and 65.

The scientists are certain that individuals who drink a minimum of three or even more glasses of caffeine every day can reduce their chance of diabetes by 33 percent.

However, it ought to be understood that other substances in coffee modify the metabolic process, and may cause other health issues.

The huge most of studies have shown that staying away from caffeine may be the response to lowering the perils of diabetes. Scientists from the well-known college clinic found a powerful tie between caffeine intake and elevated amounts of glucose and blood insulin among those who have Diabetes type 2.

The reason being blood insulin is necessary for cells to transform glucose into energy. Getting caffeine having a meal hinders our body’s capability to metabolize the foods which are eaten, and for that reason ought to be prevented. Fasting subjects who required part within this research saw no significant alternation in glucose or blood insulin levels, meaning there appears to become a correlation between food and caffeine.

The diabetic goal would be to keep your bloodstream glucose level lower. Additionally to eating a healthy diet plan and becoming lots of exercise, diabetes sufferers also needs to consider staying away from caffeine.

So how exactly does caffeine affect our physiques? Diabetes may be the lack of ability to manage sugar levels within the bloodstream. This is often because of either your body not creating enough blood insulin, or getting a hormone resistant to blood insulin. Laboratory rodents are frequently given a chemical known as alloxan. Alloxan can be used within the rodents to poison cells that produce blood insulin and creating the circumstances for diabetes. Research literature shows us that alloxan is created within our body from caffeine. Ideas claim that caffeine produces this toxic substance within our physiques and only causes diabetes, or makes existing diabetes harder to manage.

People in america love caffeine, and therefore are consuming drinks with caffeine in a historic high. Due to this we might be getting massive doses of alloxan with the drinks we consume.

How come alloxan hurt the body? A toxin generator damages our pancreas and can lead to pancreatic cancer. A toxin may cause aging, illnesses, and particularly cancer.

Caffeine is popular since it provides for us the small extra burst of one’s we believe we have to cope with the morning or even the day. Many people drink immeasureable caffeine throughout your day. The soda industry encourages consuming caffeine plus some are focusing on the more youthful market to be able to boost profits. The 15-21 year senior years group is supporting our prime caffeine levels by purchasing items which have abnormally high amounts of caffeine. A well-known tea company is marketing a higher-powered tea rich in levels of caffeine inside it. Even some fruit drinks and canned waters now contain caffeine.

Overall, caffeine adds to a lot of illnesses including depression, pancreatic cancer, and diabetes. It’s reliable advice, that individuals who’re at a bad risk for developing diabetes should avoid caffeine. Caffeine isn’t just present in coffee, tea, and sodas, but additionally in chocolate. It’s also wise to realize that even caffeine free items have a kind of caffeine that creates the deadly harmful toxins.

The Four Diabetes Symptoms – What Each and every Diabetic Should Be Wary Of

Whether you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus, either type gives you similar diabetes symptoms you have to watch out for. If you have either of such 2 types, your own blood possesses a lot of glucose or sugar that it will take care of. And that we are all aware that too much is never good for our bodies. When glucose within your blood grows into a extremely high level, your system will start supplying you with different signs and diabetes symptoms associated with a diabetic patient.

For those who have type one, the damage is in the insulin-producing cells or the beta cells simply because they can no longer produce the right amount of insulin to counteract high sugar levels in your blood. This is the action of insulin, and if it is lacking in significant amounts, the body will then start showing signs.

In type two, a similar story is present, except that the damage is in your cells because it is already developed resistance to insulin. Therefore, even though your body produces the right amount of it, it still will not do any good because the rest of your body will still reject it anyway. This results to elevated blood sugar levels that lead to diabetes mellitus.

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms #1. Frequent Urination: If you have noticed that you seem to be going to the bathroom a lot more recently, then it could be one of the signs of this blood sugar disorder. If no other reason seems to have caused this-frequent intake of water or other illnesses, then it could be one of the signs you are looking for. In this kind of medical condition, since glucose is already up and running in high levels in your blood circulation, when it reaches the kidneys the organs cannot filter the glucose. They end up diluting your urine by adding more water and that is when your urinary bladder seems to be full all the time.

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms #2. Tingling Sensation: This is also called in medical terms as a neuropathy, and it occurs in most diabetic patients. Since this medical condition affects glucose in your blood and your blood travels to different parts of your body, the rest of your organ systems are affected. In here, we are talking about your nervous system, where all kinds of nerves are affected. The signs are mostly clear in the extremities and are usually felt as tingling sensations. Although mostly evident in later stages, you can feel this if you are diagnosed with diabetes.

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms #3. You Are Constantly Thirsty: Once your thirst appears to be unquenchable, you might be demonstrating warning signs of diabetic patients. As your body needs more water so that you can dilute your urine that is loaded with glucose, you will be feeling thirsty more often than necessary.

Top Four Diabetes Symptoms #4. Blurred vision: This usually occur in later on stages, your visual organ system is also affected when you are diagnosed as diabetic. As explained prior, diabetes is really a systematic disease, so it may affect different organ parts together with your eyes.

Are you experiencing some of these diabetes symptoms? In the event you do, do not hesitate to consult the physician. Make sure you don’t have any of the listed diabetes symptoms and get yourself examined before it could be too late.
