Happy Easter!
There will be a FREE Diabetic Education Class moderated by Nina Ravey, MSN, RN, CNS, BC-FNP, APRN and taught by Missy Armetta, RD, LD, CDE, of New Iberia General Hospital and Ms. Ravey on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 in Crowley at the Adult Learning Center on 12th St., turn right on 12th St., turn onto 12th coming down Parkerson Ave. from I-10 heading toward the courthouse, 12th will be the first street you come to on the side of the Library on Parkerson. The class will be from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. All are invited, it is free of charge.
We will have a class in Jennings in the afternoon of the 28th from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm and it will be held at Shirley Medical Clinic, 711 N. Main St. in Jennings. Call 824-2002 or 2005 to RSVP for either class. We will be discussing diet, carbohydrate counting, new information and cutting edge information for 2007! Both classes free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded.
