i have so much information about suppliments, vitamins ect and i was wondering if anyone has tried anything that worked for them. i’ve heard of Hyponidd, Vitamin B6 and D, Cinnamon, Vitex, Licorish, Optivite. any info would be appreciated!
PS-i am not looking to conceive right now but my main issue is getting this under control as far as weight and irregular periods and excess hair growth.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2000, I was still in high school and 15 years old. I have never tried any herbs, but I have tried a ton of birth controls and hormones to attempt to have a regular period. None of them worked for me.

For 5 years I was troubled with this. I was told I had a 2% chance of conceiving and would most likely have to take fertility treatments. At the time and age that I was, I didn’t want a child and was completely excepting of that.

I decided to start working out in Nov 05 lost 40+ pounds by April 06. Within that time frame of working out 3 times weekly, I got my cycle regularly starting New Years day!! Every 28 days it was right on schedule. But the weight loss and period was short lived. I had met the "perfect guy" or so I thought in April 06 and I became pregnant with him by Aug 06. My son is now 1 week shy of a year old and I am finally back to working out. Our lives are great, but I am hanging in there as a single mom with PCOS.

Miracles do happen, but working out is what induced and healthier life for me.
