Hi there!!
Im getting a 11 week old shih tzu puppy very soon and i just really need some basic tips on puppy wellness and housebreaking and my biggest concern/question really is this: How many sets of shots does the puppy have to have OR how old can a puppy be; for it to be able to go out in public places safely and interact with people,adult dogs, etc.
Any other tips or information will be greatly appreciated also!

Your puppy needs 3 sets of shots. One at 8 weeks of age, one at 12 weeks and one at 16 weeks.
Your puppy being 11 weeks old should have at least her first set of shots when you get her.
If she does not, take her in immediately for her first set. After that you can get the 2nd set 4 weeks after and the 3rd set 4 weeks after the 2nd.
Your puppy will not be safe in public places until at least 7 days after her third set of shots.
