I got 3 of those in one month. Identical wording in the letter, but a different signature. It's a scam. They're looking for banking info.

Neens, I think the only scam iz u. The fact that you asked this tells us all you know the answer and are just interested in the "oh my god" replys you'll get.

Therese a saying if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck,then its a duck!! if it sounds too good too be true then its a scam and this sounds like a big scam.dont trust

If you give them your bank account # to deposit money they'll clean you out ,ss# credit card fraud ,I know some stupid guy that gave his account number and got cleaned out.

It's hard not to imagine that this is all a scam.Even those emails that ask me to forward to as many people as possible and some XXX company will contribute 5 cents are all scams in my perception.

she does get around, doesn't she. always wanting to give you her money because she has cancer, or eart problems,or going blind, or not wanting her greedy nephews to get it and all that. she sent me the same email, but it all come from the same biunch of nigerians. it's a variation of the nigerian scam which says if you help sos and so, who had your last name and died without any rellatives, move the money from this bank to that bank they'd split it with you. i've had "relatives who made fortunes in south africa" die and leaving several hundreed million that i could split if only i give them my bank account number, and name and address and phone number and everything else, that if i had been sent my share, i'd be worth over 250 million by now. yes, it is definitely a scam. label it spam and waiot for the other offers start coming and do them the same way. trash can them.

Not only is this a scam its a specific type refered to as a Nigerian 419 scam(related to the legal code in Nigeria where the scam originated) The link below has more info about the situation. As always, if something seems to good to be true it almost certainly is.
