My beagle doesn’t like eating his food anymore?
My dog has now gone through two different types of food and doesn’t seem like either anymore. He is a food-hungry dog and love anything but his own food. I had him on IAMS for a little bit, and just recently switched to Wellness, but I often have to force him to eat now. Is it the dry food that he doesn’t like? Should I mix it with wet? Any suggestions or tips? Thanks.
talking to the vet would be a good idea but first, how many treats does your dog get a day? Does he get any table scraps? Could he just not be hungry? The dog won’t starve himself if there is no medical problem. remember the dog should only be getting 1 1/2 cups full of dry food a day if 25-35 lbs, give or take a little bit for different foods.

I’m not fat at all, but I have belly fat, what work out or health tips can you give me to lose the fat?
I am fourteen, 5 foot exactly, I am small but i have a kind of big belly. How can I take that extra fat off?
You need to lose the fat off the stomach first, sit-ups will do nothing because the fat is still there. You need to do cardo exercises, walking or running will help burn calories and take off the fat. Also, eat whole grains. Studies show that people who eat whole grains, as opposed to refined and processed foods, have less belly fat.

Dr Whiting on Heart Disease and Oral Chelation
In spite of dozens of drugs and numerous surgical procedures, heart disease is still the number one cause of death in most industrialized nations. While there are many forms of possible heart disease, the heart attack is the most common and most feared. Heart attacks can also come as a result of several causes, but the most common cause is the slow and steady blockage of arterial blood flow leading away from the heart. This narrowing of the arteries is called atherosclerosis. In theory, if we could reduce or remove the amount of atherosclerotic plaque, we could prevent the majority of heart attacks. This can now be done, in most cases, by safe, all-natural means. The American Dietetics Association has been telling us for decades, that the major cause of heart disease is the high saturated fat diet. This concept has prevented millions of people from preventing heart disease by diverting their attention to a factor that is minimal in the heart disease process. Diet does play a major role in the pathology of heart disease, but its not the saturated fats that are the culprit but rather the oxidized, rancid vegetable oils consumed in extremely high amounts that have led us to the heart disease epidemic. If you wish to follow a truly heart health diet, consider eliminating as many vegetable oils from your diet except for olive oil, which is actually heart healthy. Olive oil is monounsaturated and as such does not oxidize and form free radicals easily. It is the polyunsaturated vegetable oils such as corn, safflower and others that generate high amounts of free radicals, the very free radical compounds that can specifically attack the walls of your arteries, leading the clogged arteries through calcification and eventual atherosclerosis. By consuming a moderate amount of natural saturated fats and monounsaturated oils such as olive oil, you can prevent the formation of dangerous free radicals that will continue to attack the muscle wall of your arteries, leading to atherosclerosis. Since the leading cause of the heart attack is the clogging up of the arteries, preventing the build up of plaque is essential in controlling this health epidemic. Atherosclerosis prevention begins by controlling the intake of the wrong fats as discussed above. Once the condition has been established the damage to the arteries is often permanent. This requires that constant support and attention be given to the removal of atherosclerotic plaque as it builds up. The first step in atherosclerosis prevention is removing the calcium deposits on the inner wall of the arteries. This condition, called calcification of the arteries, occurs when the artery wall has been damaged by free radical attack. Once the calcium has built up on specific damaged sites, cholesterol, which naturally circulates in the blood, attaches itself to the calcium. This explains why an artery can be perfectly clean and just inches away, the same artery can be 90% clogged.
This clogging of the arteries can lead to other complications such as high blood pressure. As the artery narrows, the blood pressure increases in order to drive the blood from the heart to the rest of the body. Focus on finding a safe and natural way to remove the calcium from the arteries lead to first developing IV Chelation and later an Oral Chelation process that made the procedure affordable for virtually everyone. Oral Chelation has been around for about 25 years. In the early days, oral chelates were somewhat ineffective since the main ingredient, EDTA, a synthetic amino acid, was unstable in the digestive system and broke down before being effective. In recent years, methods of protecting the EDTA molecule have made oral Chelation both viable and highly effective.

Incidence of Type II Diabetes Rises- are You at Risk?
Type II Diabetes
Incidence of Type II diabetes and Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT) is rising around the world. According to the International Diabetes Federation, 7 million people develop diabetes each year, at the rate of 2 people every 10 seconds! It is believed that up to 50% of people with diabetes are undiagnosed, and in some less developed countries, that number could be as high as 80%. This amazing number can be attributed to the slow onset of type II diabetes. People may not notice the progression of their symptoms, which include tiredness, thirst, constant hunger, frequent urination, blurred vision, weight loss, weakness, repeated infections and poor wound healing. Another factor that may contribute to the rise in type II diabetes cases is increased affluence. Increased income to spend on food, cars and other labor saving appliances leads to a fatter, less active society- two of the key factors that contribute to type II diabetes. This disease can have many serious complications if not managed, but many people do not understand how serious it is. Why? Because many people with diabetes look healthy. Yet, late diagnosis or poor management can lead to deterioration of vision and blindness, kidney damage and failure, angina and heart attacks, painful feet and paralysis, and foot ulcers and poor circulation to the legs and feet- the result of which can be amputation.
ARE YOU AT RISK?
People with diabetes do not make insulin, or it does not work the way it should. In healthy people, insulin works with the food you eat to deliver glucose to your cells for energy. People with diabetes have high blood glucose levels, because the insulin is not facilitating transport of glucose into your cells. This explains the symptoms and complications of diabetes: your body does not have the energy to perform its necessary tasks! While there is a genetic susceptibility, studies have also noted that dietary composition, physical activity, and low birth weight contribute to the onset of type II diabetes.
People at risk are:
· Over 40 years old
· Have (or have had) a blood relative with diabetes
· Have (or have had) diabetes during pregnancy
· Don’t exercise regularly, or have a sedentary lifestyle
· Are obese (waist measurement over 100cm for men, 95 cm for women)
· Have high blood pressure or take blood pressure medication
· Have a history of heart attack, angina, paralysis, stroke
· Women with polycystic ovary syndrome who are obese (cysts on ovaries, irregular periods, problems with excess facial and body hair and acne)
· Have previously had abnormal blood glucose levels (impaired glucose tolerance or impaired fasting glucose)
· Were born in Southern Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia; are Polynesian or Asian Indian
· Have two or more of the following symptoms:
1. excessive urination
2. constant thirst
3. unexplained weight loss
4. numbness or tingling in legs or feet
5. blurred vision
6. constant fatigue
7. itching skin or frequent skin infections
Diabetes claims the lives of one person every 10 seconds, and people with type II diabetes die an average of 5-10 years earlier than those without it. Don’t let this disease claim any more lives! UP TO 80% OF TYPE II DIABETES IS PREVENTABLE AND MANAGEABLE BY LOSING WEIGHT, INCREASING ACTIVITY AND EATING A HEALTHY DIET! If you are at risk, see your doctor for a blood test!

Your Natural Eczema Solution
Eczema can be a real problem in your life, it can have profound effects and literally stop you living your life how you would like to. Many people find that the solutions they receive from their Doctors is either unsatisfactory or plain old just doesn’t work. If this is at all familiar, try out some of the natural tips below- you’ll be surprised how effective they are.
Blueberry Leaf Extract-
Natural base ingredients in blueberry leaves have excellent effects on your Eczema. They use a kind of acid called chlorogenic acid. Chlorogenic acid is mother nature’s own natural anti inflammatory medicine. This means that basically wherever you are experiencing discomfort or swelling, apply the extract in cream or lotion form, and you should find the symptoms lessening. Your local health or wellness store should carry Blueberry extract in many forms.
Flaxseed Oil-
The jury’s still out on the taste of this stuff, but there can be little arguing about the effects it has on your skin. Not only will it help reduce Eczema, it will also improve the health of your skin in general. It does take a while for the results to show up, but keep at it and be consistent with your dosage and you will get there! The dosage is different for everyone, so you may want to consult with your Doctor for some medical advice first.
Moisturization of the affected area-
To put it bluntly, the more moisture there is in your skin, the less it can split and crack and itch and flake. In an eczema sufferer, the further you can get from these things the better. As a general rule, the more you can moisturize the better, but as a minimum twice a day should give you some real gains. It’s best to moisturize immediately after bathing, dab yourself dry with a soft towel and apply the moisturizer directly to damp skin. This will help you lock the moisturizer into the skin, and give you even greater benefits.
As we mentioned before, Eczema is really no picnic-any sufferer will tell you-but hopefully if you put some of these tips into practice, you may be able to feel some relief and experience your own walk in the park.
