Do women only care about breast cancer and not care about guys who have prostate cancer?

I think it’s bad how some women only care about breast cancer and don’t care about prostate cancer.

Some of them laugh at men who have prostate cancer.
Oh so women only care about breast cancer because they don’t want their breasts removed?

I thought women cared about breast cancer because it can cause death, wow this sure is news to me!!

I don’t know what kind of women you know who would think like that but it’s not true. My father-in-law has prostate cancer and I care very much. If my husband got it, it would devastate me. So who the heck is saying that. In my circle of friends, we have never laughed at any man with prostate cancer and if I ever saw one that did, I would be very angry with them. If you know a woman or women who laugh at men with cancer, give them a kick where the sun don’t shine for me
ADD, I had both my breast removed in November of 08. You know what I think about that? I HAVE LIFE, that’s what I care about.

At what age is it proper to start thinking about heart health?

I eat what ever I want and drink all the time but I do not smoke. I am normal weight for my age(35) and there is no history of heart problems in my family.

My two year old niece knows about healthy food and exercise, so it’s never too soon. If you’re not overweight and your family doesn’t have heart problems, make sure you’re exercising and getting into the doctor at least once every 24 months for a physical and cholesterol check and you should be fine.

How do you deal with Diabetes on a daily basis? is there a routine wihich you have to follow?

I am a high school student doing a project on Diabetes. Part of the project consists of asking a few questions to people with Diabetes.

My eleven year old daughter has type 1 Diabetes. She was diagnosed at the age of 8. She has been on the insulin pump for 2 1/2 years. Her daily routine starts with testing when she first awakens (about 6:30), followed by breakfast. She enters her blood glucose (BG) and the number of carbs she will eat into the pump and it calculates how much insulin she needs to cover these. At 10:00am she tests again to see if her number is good and either corrects (through the pump) or has a snack to elevate her BG if she is a little low.
She tests again at lunchtime (about 11:45) and repeats the process from breakfast. She tests a 4th time after school, (3:00ish) to see where her BG is. If she is participating in an after school sport she will need a snack to keep her BG up with the extra activity. At dinner time (roughly 6:00) she will repeat the testing and enter into the pump her BG and carbs. She tests for the 6th and last time (usually) at bedtime.
The pump holds insulin in a tube called a resevoir and delivers the insulin through a tube to a canula called an infusion set that is inserted under the skin of her abdomen area. The infusion set and resevoir need to be changed every 2-3 days and is done at home by me.
She sees her pediatric endocronoligist every 3 months for an HbA1c test, height/weight etc and to monitor how well she is managing her BG.
This is our typical daily routine. Which is subject to change at any time as her BG is affected by: an increase in physical activity, illness, stress, problem with the pump or set, etc etc

If Lil’ Wayne lives to be an old man, does that mean everything we know about health and wellness is wrong?

I mean he smokes marijuana, drinks "syrup/ syzzurp" ( cough syrup, sprite mix), has promiscuous sex, not to mention he disrespects women………….so like I said if he lives long, and is well does that mean we have to re-evaluate tips on living your best life possible?

Definitely

Any health tips for someone of my figure?

Hey there, I just wondered if anyone could give me any Health Tips.

I’m 16
5Foot2"
90Lbs

I’m quite flat chested but my butt is huge.. I also have stretch marks on my thighs/butt which suck. Anyone got any advice for someone of my.. figure? And just wondering, is there still a chance of my chest developing a bit more..? I started my periods at age 14.

Thanks in advance. :)

Well, first of all, about your cup size, yes. I gained a whole cup size my senior year of high school…so don’t fret about that. Your fine.
But if your 5’2" and only 90 pounds,…that’s the reason why. Anyone who is very skinny will not have nice, good sized breasts. You need to gain some weight if you want a larger cup size. To have a naturally good-sized busts a woman has to have curves, and let herself be a normal healthy weight. 90 pounds in underweight for your height and age hun. When you see older women walking around with large breasts and very tiny/anorexic-looking frames…those breasts are fake. Trust me. Almost all of the time. And no guy worth investing your heart in actually likes fake breasts. Do yourself a favor and gain a bit of weight!

There are a few exercises that actually can help build muscle in your chest area..which in turn creates the illusion of a fuller busts. Just go on Youtube for ideas.

As for the stretch marks…try rubbing some liquid Vitamin E on it everyday for a while, and see if you notice a difference. That’s what some of my friends did after they were prego….trust me, when you get prego someday…you get a lot of stretch marks..
In fact, the majority of woman have very noticable stretch marks on their body…its totally normal.

What is the purpose of medical practice acts?

What is the purpose of Medical Practice acts?

I think this website has excellent information:

What healthcare job is least likely to risk a lawsuit?

I know Doctors pay a hefty sum for malpractice insurance, but are nurses likely to get sued as well? What job in the Healthcare industry is least likey to get sued for malpractice? Please no desk jobs like medical transcriptions or coding.

Hospitals carry liability insurance for their nurses. It is unlikely that a nurse will get sued unless she/he does something very deliberate and intentional to harm a patient.
